Young Horse Development and Training

Due to the scale of our farms, we are uniquely positioned to offer young horse raising in customised herds based on age and sex so that they grow up together on large fields in a natural way. Young horses are handled regularly and positioned to enter our young horse development program starting at age 2. We support our clients by raising and training horses until the horse meets the expectations of the client, whether that is at 2, 3, or 6 years old. We will continue to develop each horse to meet those needs and expectations.

Our staff at Stone Columns Stables can work with you to customize a training program for your young horse, from foal all the way to show horse. We start, develop and finish horses in all breeds and disciplines. We host keurings each year on the farm and can facilitate the registration, inspection and approval process seamlessly. We also attend Young Horse Shows locally for experience and exposure for your young horses.
